As a director Eric has worked on many shows in venues across the country from Kilmarnock to Bromley as well as national tours including the inaugural tour of Warwick Davis’ “Reduced Height Theatre Company” and their production of “See How They Run.”  Favourite directing commissions include “The Steamie” at the Coliseum Theatre in Oldham, “Annie” at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury, “Panto’s on Strike” & “The Easter Funny Show” both at the Opera House, Manchester, the national tour of  “Mr Bloom Live” for Munchkin Productions and “Dick Whittington” at the New Wimbledon Theatre with Dame Edna Everage, a production he also wrote.

 

Eric has had much success as a writer with his work being performed regularly across the country. He is currently finishing off the script for a new musical which he will be directing prior to a national tour in 2021. He is regarded as one of Britain’s top pantomime script writers having written over 60 shows across the country featuring major stars such as Cilla Black, Dame Edna Everage, Bradley Walsh, Priscilla Presley, David Hasselhoff, Barbara Windsor, Mickey Rooney, John Thompson and many others.
